Streitfeld, D. (2012, April 11). Cut in E-Book Pricing by Amazon Is Set to Shake Rivals - NYTimes.com. The New York Times - Breaking News, World News & Multimedia. The antitrust case of some dominant publishers now creates argument. With more than 60% in the e-book market, Amazon is likely to have no rival (par. 8). Some retailers and publishers argue that the act of government will make Amazon the only dominant e-book retailer (par.1). Physical book retailers do not want to lose their market share. The more chance Amazon has to cut the e-book price the more retailers will go bankruptcy. The retailer market will not be a perfect competitive one.
